Hammered Textures

The variety of textures on silver and gold is almost infinite. Textures can be added using heat, rolling mills, punches, casting, hammers, and other creative methods. Hammering is perhaps the simplest approach, but it provides a wide range of textures by varying the hammers utilized and how and where the metal is struck.
